Elite Taekwondo Academy (ETA) offers classes in the Korean martial art of Taekwondo, which is an official Olympic sport. Classes offer the excitement of developing martial arts skills, but the main goal for our students is character development. We are proud to see our students mature with traditional martial arts values such as modesty, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit.

Our child and teen classes focus on respect and discipline combined with physical conditioning. ETA emphasizes that to become a successful martial artist; courtesy, respect and a strong mind are just as important as physical strength and agility. While studying at ETA our young people learn dedication and determination which prepares them to become successful in all areas of their lives.

ETA's adult classes are tailored to those interested in traditional martial arts and a practical application of self-defense. Classes consist of aerobic and anaerobic exercise, combined with mental focusing, which enforces self-discipline and confidence in everyday life.

ETA also offers instruction in Olympic style sparring for children, teens and competitive adults. Taekwondo became an official Olympic event in the year 2000, and its popularity has continued to grow. Olympic style Taekwondo has become especially competitive in California and ETA encourages students to compete at local, state and national tournaments.
